About this event

Birthed in 2010 by founders Simon Pur­nell and Paul ​‘Mudd’ Mur­phy, Leng have gone from strength to strength since their incep­tion as an effort­less­ly for­ward-think­ing mid-tem­po dis­co/nu-dis­co label, mak­ing their pres­ence felt over the years with a hybrid of musi­cal styles. Their cat­a­logue is a fas­ci­nat­ing insight into suave, styl­ish bub­blers that nev­er fail to keep you danc­ing from dusk til’ dawn, a qual­i­ty and facet nailed down by heav­i­ly sup­port­ed star appear­ances from 40 Thieves, Daniele Baldel­li, The Emper­or Machine, Pay­fone, Mush­rooms Project, Ali Kuru, Earth­boo­gie and Can­toma amongst many oth­ers, ensur­ing that the sun is always shin­ing when it comes to Leng’s sto­ried and dance floor roots.

Their first appear­ance at FIS is the begin­ning of what we know will be a long and beau­ti­ful rela­tion­ship for this Margate/​London based label. It also marks the release of Lex’s new album ​‘Wav­ing’ which you can lis­ten and buy here — Simon & Paul from Leng will be bring­ing copies of the release which you can pur­chase direct­ly from them on the night.
