Faith In Strangers is a 350 capacity bar and modern discoteque, kitchen, music and arts venue combined with a workspace and coworking for creative individuals based in the heart of Cliftonville, Margate. We are about exposing and exploring new art forms; discovering and sharing new experiences with friends, lovers, and partners enjoying music, arts, technology, movies, documentaries, talks, travel, coffee, wine, food, cocktails, ideas, new experiences and challenges.
Faith In Strangers was founded in January 2018, by two school friends who fell in love with a dilapidated building with inspirational views and a long history of bringing people together. The 60’s modernist building was previously the home to Starlight Lounge members club and more recently Frank’s nightclub, but had been sadly forgotten and left to decay. By September 2019 the building had been refurbished and began a new chapter in its history, as Faith In Strangers.
As we all emerge from the troubles and tragedies of the Covid pandemic, we count ourselves fortunate that we are in a position to re-open to the public. We want Faith In Strangers to be a place where people reconnect; come with an open heart and a willingness to accept each other’s differences and you will be welcomed.
