On Sun­day 21 Decem­ber we’re keep­ing our Sun­day Roast ser­vice rolling into the evening as every­one starts to break up for Christ­mas. It’s the last roast of 2025 and we’re turn­ing it into a com­mu­ni­ty fundrais­er: all door pro­ceeds go to Mar­gate Inde­pen­dent Food­bank to sup­port through the hol­i­day period.

This isn’t just about roasts.

Come for pints, wine, big groups, board games, small tables, ear­ly din­ners, late hang­outs, danc­ing, and what­ev­er unfolds once the plates are cleared. It’s open to fam­i­lies, kids, and dogs – the full com­mu­ni­ty is welcome.

From 3pm into the evening we’ve invit­ed LOADS of DJs to jump on in a long rolling b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2 ses­sion, play­ing the music that’s inspired them the most, over the Posei­don Sound Sys­tem. The jour­ney will get strange, eclec­tic, pos­si­bly chaot­ic. That’s the point. It’s a snap­shot of Margate’s cre­ative com­mu­ni­ty in its purest form.

Come for the roast. Stay for beers. Stay for what­ev­er unfolds on the Posei­don Sound Sys­tem as it rolls from after­noon into night. Maybe it turns into a par­ty, maybe it becomes some­thing else entire­ly. Either way, it’s about bring­ing peo­ple togeth­er, catch­ing up before the hol­i­days, and rais­ing mon­ey for a good cause when it’s need­ed most.
