Okay let’s get this out in the open ASAP: Oli Keens is a dirty lit­tle DFL (Dilf From Lon­don*), who crawls up to Mar­gate every few months to give it the big one. And yes, he’s BACK: this dis­co-lov­ing DJ kills it every time he’s here. Any­one who saw him wear­ing a horse’s head sup­port­ing Horse Meat Dis­co in March, or killing the Sun­deck at Mar­gate Pride in his under­wear last year will agree.

He’s done fes­ti­vals like Glas­ton­bury, Mighty Hoopla, Body Move­ments, sup­port­ed big queer cheeses like Hon­ey Dijon, Grace Jones, Sam Smith – and warmed up for Nor­man Jay and Fat Tony at our venue in the past.

But for Fri­day March 23^rd, we just want­ed to give Oli the whole space to turn it into a big fun, free-wheel­ing mash-up of beau­ti­ful dance music and songs with more emo­tion than a sur­prise intervention.

An idea of what the vibe will be like: sil­ly not seri­ous, cheery not cheesy, occa­sion­al­ly melo­dra­mat­ic, always groovy af.

In his words ​“I’ll kick off with a pow­er hour of pure dis­co, and slow­ly start bring­ing more classy house and tech­no into the mix. So by the end, I’ll be edg­ing con­stant­ly between some­thing hard and some­thing mega fun. If you love edg­ing, you’ll be in heaven.”
