PARTOFOFFSEASON 2026:
Exhibition by Dan Watt (D.L.W) — NEUSEANCE
On display at Faith in Strangers 23 – 26th January 2026.
“Originally from Essex, Dan Watt (D.L.W) relocated to Margate a year ago, drawn by a desire to be closer to the sea and to ground themselves in a new sense of home. This transition became the catalyst for a daily practice: 365 drawings made over the course of a year. Each drawing depicts an item found on the beach and then returned to the sea, engaging in a quiet cycle of attention, care, and release.
Created for NEUSEANCE — a title that folds together nuisance, séance, and sea. The work reflects a persistent dialogue with place, ritual, and repetition. Through daily acts of drawing and returning, the artist traces an ongoing process of settling, attuning to Margate’s shoreline, and finding stability through making.”
All artworks will be for sale, with 50% of profits going to Alzheimer’s UK.
