MER­GATE take over Faith In Strangers sat­ur­day 1^st June for the Mer­gate Ball.

We are going deep… deep­er than you’ve ever been before… 20,000 beats under the sea.Lose your­self in an entranc­ing night of sea aliens, aquat­ic may­hem, and sub­ter­ranean grooves with DJ Ali Renault at the helm with Jason Rowe and Zoe on support.

Expect sul­try sea siren and rit­u­al euphor­ic per­for­mances and hyp­noticim­mer­sive arts.

The Mer­gate Ball wel­comes you onboard the S.S. Faith in Strangers from 9pm on Sat­ur­day 1^st June until late!

Mer­gate is an annu­al fes­ti­val in Mar­gate, cel­e­brat­ing sea­side life and uplift­ing the voic­es of those pro­tect­ing our beach­es. Inspired by Coney Island’s Mer­maid Parade, we aim to bring the com­mu­ni­ty together.Mergate con­sists of the Parade & the Event (first Sat­ur­day in June); and Mer-May, a month of work­shops and activ­i­ties lead­ing up to it. The Parade invites every­one to dress in a sea-inspired cos­tume and walk along our coast­line. The Parade is fol­lowed by the Event con­sist­ing of per­for­mances and mar­ket stalls from local artists.Anyone can walk in the Parade. Entry to the Event is tick­et­ed (chil­dren under 12 get in free), and a per­cent­age of our pro­ceeds go to RNLI Mar­gate and Rise Up Clean Up.
